Background
Limited long-term data exist on clinical, radiographic and patient-reported outcomes following pyrocarbon shoulder hemiarthroplasty, making local benchmarking and patient counselling challenging .
Aims
To evaluate long-term clinical, radiological and patient-reported outcomes of pyrocarbon shoulder hemiarthroplasty at GSTT (in collaboration with University Hospitals Sussex) during the audit cycle
Objectives
Cohort identification: Select all patients with ≥5 years follow-up post-hemiarthroplasty. Outcome collection: Gather Oxford Shoulder Score (or equivalent) and radiographic implant-status at most recent follow-up.
